Homeowner enquiries that arrive already qualified.
We run a free retrofit and grant checker for English homeowners. Before anyone reaches you, we have already read their property’s official Energy Performance Certificate and checked them against the published grant rules.
What comes with every enquiry
- A verified EPC band — read from the MHCLG register for that exact property, not typed into a form
- Property detail — type, floor area, current heating system, and the rating it could reach
- Grant position — whether they qualify for Warm Homes: Local Grant, via which route, and what it covers
- The measures their EPC recommends, with indicative costs and which of them a grant will and won’t fund
- Explicit, recorded consent to be contacted, stored with the exact wording they agreed to
A household in an eligible postcode can have up to £33,200 of work funded at zero contribution. Those outside the scheme still qualify for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme’s £7,500 toward a heat pump, which is not means-tested.

Most retrofit leads are an unqualified form fill sold to four firms at once. Ours are screened on the two things that decide whether a job actually happens: the property’s real energy rating, and whether someone else is paying.
We are recruiting a small pilot group to receive enquiries free of charge while we prove lead quality. No contract, no commitment — we ask only that you tell us honestly what happened with each one.

Warm Homes: Local Grant allows up to 15% of project spend on admin and ancillary costs, explicitly including “searching for eligible homes” and “signing up households”. Finding eligible households is the part most schemes find hardest.
We screen against all three eligibility pathways — IMD income decile postcode, qualifying benefits, and the income threshold — plus the EPC band D–G property gate, using the published DESNZ postcode list and the MHCLG register.
Our screening is indicative only. Policy guidance S4.6 is explicit that self-declaration is not acceptable verification and that authorities must run their own checks. We pre-qualify; you verify.
